Frank Wilson


Frankie is one of the founding members of St Mary's FC and, 24 years later is still regularly seen supporting teams from all age groups on Saturday mornings.


John Joseph Walsh


Denise Burns


Denise has been a Committee Member of St Mary’s FC since 2010, and Club Secretary since 2011.  She is a Chartered Secretary and originally got involved with the Club to support its governance framework and administrative practices.  She oversees the Club’s governance structures and IFA Accreditations as well as managing its social media pages.


Brian Byrne


Brian originally became involved as a parent with St Mary’s FC in 1998  before taking up a coaching role a few years later and then acquiring the post of Club Treasurer which he has served for 8 years plus. He is a Bank Manager with over 35 years’ experience in the Financial sector. During his time with the Club he has completed the IFA Level 1 Coaching Certificate whilst undertaking other youth football workshop activities. Brian represents the Club on various committees and ensures that all income & expenditure matters for the Club are managed in an efficient basis.

Child Protection Officer

John Meighan


John has been at the club since 1998.  Originally a youth team player he has now developed his role within the club even further.  He is a member of the St Mary’s senior team, U19 Youth Team Coach, Committee Member, Football Committee Member and also The Designated Child Protection Officer for the club.  John is a Primary School Teacher and has a lot of experience working with children in a number of different areas.  In his role as Child Protection Officer he has oversight of the welfare and safety of all players at the club.

Stephen Turner


Stephen has been with the club since 1995 starting as a coach with the U10's. Success to date has been League winners at both U11 & U12 and finalists of the League Cup at U15 & U16. He's also been a committee member since 1999 and has got his IFA Level1 coaching badge.

Committee Member

James Tohill


James has been with the club for 12 years. He joined the club at the age of 11 and played from Under 11 to Under 19 captaining his team for several years during this period. Upon leaving the club after under 19, James returned to coach with St. Mary’s taking his under 14 squad through several succesful seasons winning several cups including a League Championship.

Following 10 years at the club, James joined the Club Committee and also returned to playing with the newly formed St. Mary’s Senior Team.
